Praise the Lord for the local churches! I am a young girl who loves our Lord Jesus and is thirsty and hungry for the truth, and who desires that God would be satisfied. I grew up fearing God and since I was little, my parents took me to different places to know and praise Christ. However, as I grew up, I was not satisfied with what my parents had taught me, but I sought for my own experiences as a believer. My parents took me through many Christian groups until we finally met with the local churches and began reading the ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee. To experience the local churches has been the most marvelous experience that I have had as a Christian. I have been able to see the Body of Christ. It is incredible to visit each one of the local churches, regardless of which city or country I go to, they speak the same thing and they care for one another. I am from Puerto Rico and I have visited the churches in New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Santa Ana, Mexico, Honduras, etc. and I feel as if I am in the place where I regularly meet. Everyone receives me as if they knew me all their life and we can talk about the Lord without contending. To experience the unity of the church has been a blessing. My desire is that all Christians would be united. In the coming age God will not separate His children by named groups, but we will be united for eternity.
